Music Marketing Blog Post
For the first part the group worked together on the "Music Research Chart," which we had to do based on the music genre "Pop." Once everyone in the group knew that our assigned genre was pop, each person chose which artist/band to do their research on. There had to be 2 artists/bands per Music Company, we had to do 2 music companies, which ment we had to choose 4 artists/bands. Once everyone in the group completed the Music Research Chart we were sent 2 emails with 2 songs in each email, we had do to pick 1 song out of those 4 to do a music video on, we agreed on the song "Electric Feel," since it had the most pleasing beat and rhythm out of the 4. Once we were finished with picking the song for the music video we went ahead and discussed as a group about how we are going to complete the project, we made a planning paper to be aware of how much time we have and how we are going to split the project up into parts to be able to finish it by the due date. After the planning was complete we worked on the storyboard, (which was 20 slides) and we portrayed the vision that we had in mind, we drew an outline of how our music video is going to look so that we don't get confused on what we have to do during the making of the music video. When we were finished with the storyboard we started on formatting the power point and gathering all the info to put into the Powerpoint. Today we went to have our Group -> Teacher project discussion, we stupidly used ai to gather the information that would've been implemented into the Powerpoint, however, it was found out that ai was used to complete that part of the project. We took the bad grade as the penalty and we rewrote all the information/data that we are going to use to complete our Powerpoint part of the project.
